Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by PSG after an eventful night at Stamford Bridge that ended 2-2, seeing the French side advance on away goals.

The match sparked to life when after 31 minutes Zlatan Ibrahimovic was shown a red card for a challenge on Chelsea midfielder Oscar. It looked harsh but the referee had no doubts, and no hesitation, about sending the Swede off.

Despite being down to 10 men for the majority of the match, PSG tended to look the most threatening.

Midway through the second half Edinson Cavani rounded Thibault Courtois, only to then see his strike skim off the post. But it was Chelsea who took the lead when after 81 minutes Gary Cahill smashed in.

But the lead didn't last long as former Chelsea player David Luiz came back to haunt the Blues with an equaliser after 86 minutes that sent the game to extra-time.

Chelsea again found themselves in front when Thiago Silva inexplicably and unnecessarily handled inside his own box and Eden Hazard converted from the spot.

But Silva redeemed himself with a wonderful looped header with seven minutes remaining of extra-time that Chelsea were unable to find a reply to.

So who were the heroes and zeros on a dramatic night at the Bridge? We take a look...
