In the seven matches since then United have only beaten Chelsea twice - one of which was the 3-1 victory in the Community Shield earlier this season - losing three times and drawing another two.

United's record at Stamford Bridge, the venue for tomorrow night's quarter final first leg, is even worse. In their last 10 visits to Chelsea they have lost six, drawn three and their only victory came way back in 2002.

We take a look at the key battles and re-live that 2008 final ahead of tomorrow's eagerly anticipated game.
