Beware of the Drog.

Didier Drogba makes his first Chelsea start since the club's victorious Champions League final against Bayern Munich tonight in their group stage tie against Schalke at Stamford Bridge.

That final, of course, featured Drogba's last contribution for Chelsea in Europe - scoring the winning penalty.

Drogba, who re-joined Chelsea on a year's contract during the summer after leaving Galatasaray, comes in for the free-scoring Diego Costa, who drops to the bench.

The pair of Julian Draxler and Klaas-Jan Hunetelaar are the danger men for the Bundeslga side.

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Filipe Luis; Matic, Fabregas; Ramires, Willian, Hazard; Drogba

Schalke: Fahrmann; Höger, Ayhan, Neustadter, Fuchs; Boateng, Aogo; Sam, Meyer, Draxler; Huntelaar
