Manchester United avoided a Champions League catastrophe with an impressive 4-0 win over Club Brugge in their Champions League play-off second leg.
It was a result that saw Louis van Gaal's side progress to the group stage of the competition with a 7-1 win on aggregate.
The night belonged to Wayne Rooney who ended his 10 game goal drought in style. The United skipper scored a hat-trick in under an hour in Belgium.
