Cristiano Ronaldo makes it three matches without a goal for Real Madrid... and a distinctly average four goals in his last 10

As hard as it might be to believe, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is human after all.

The Portuguese forward still boasts an utterly incredible record of 36 goals in 33 matches for Los Blancos this season, and Real still won at the weekend - Isco and Karim Benzema on target as they beat Deportivo La Coruna - but manager Carlo Ancelotti might be starting to become a bit worried at his main man's form.

Ronaldo is suddenly struggling for goals. He has now failed to score in three consecutive La Liga matches for the first time since February 2011 - but even more worryingly, the Portuguese now has just four goals in his last 10 matches stretching all the way back to 12 December.

During that 10 game run he's had a massive 47 shots at goal but only 17 of those have been on target. Ronaldo has four assists in that time but just two of those have come in his last nine matches.

Considering he started the season with an other-worldly 17 goals in his first 11 matches, it is a considerable decline from the Ballon d'Or holder.

Ronaldo also had to watch rival Lionel Messi score a hat-trick - the two players are now tied on 23 for most in La Liga history - as Barcelona thrashed Levante 5-0.

Messi now has 14 goals in his last 11 in the league, all wins for Barca. Now just a point behind Real Madrid, the goals took Messi's record in the Primera Division to 269 goals on his 300th appearance.
