Eto'o pounces to rescue Barcelona

The Barça striker Samuel Eto'o rescued a point for the champions two minutes from time when he pounced to net his sixth goal of the season in a frantic finish to the game.

Zaragoza's Argentinian brothers Gabriel and Diego Milito had stunned the home crowd with two quick goals at the start of the second half in the Nou Camp.

But Barça got a penalty with 13 minutes left when the Paraguayan defender Delio Toledo brought down the Dutchman Mark van Bommel in the area.

Toledo was sent off for his second yellow card and the Brazilian forward Ronaldinho scored from the spot, leaving Eto'o to prise a point from what had looked a lost cause.

Getafe maintained their position on top as they moved on to 14 points after coming from behind to win their first home game of the season against Valencia.

The visitors' striker David Villa celebrated his recall to the Spain squad with his sixth goal of the season, diving to head home Vicente's cross after 30 minutes.

But the Getafe striker Riki equalised just before the break with a volley into the roof of the net and then turned provider two minutes from time, crossing for the midfielder Pablo Redondo to strike the winner at the far post.

Villa was sent off in injury time as tempers flared.
