Martin Jol will face Juande Ramos tonight for the first time since he was replaced as Tottenham manager by the Spaniard in 2007. Jol's Fulham host Ukrainian side Dnipro, now managed by Ramos.

Ramos's spell in charge lasted only one year. "He was there for 10 or 11 months and moved on and then ended up in the Ukraine," Jol said. Fulham, whose left-back Carlos Salcido joined Mexican club Tigres on a season-long loan yesterday, will be without Simon Davies and Bjorn Helge Riise.

Roger Brown, who played for Fulham in the early 1980s, passed away yesterday morning.

Matthew Upson could make his Stoke City debut in Switzerland tonight, as Tony Pulis's side travel to FC Thun. Jonathan Woodgate will not be risked.

Birmingham City play Nacional in Portugal, and manager Chris Hughton wants to keep the tie alive. "It's not just about one game," he said, "it's about doing it over a couple of games." Cameron Jerome, Nikola Zigic and Marlon King are all out.

Rangers travel to NK Maribor of Slovenia, while Celtic host Swiss side FC Sion.
