Luis Suarez finally made his Barcelona debut last night, after the Court of Arbitration for Sport slightly reduced the severity of his ban.

Suarez will still not make his full league debut for his new club until at least the end of October, but the £75m man was officially presented to the fans at the Nou Camp last night and played the final 15 minutes of a 6-0 win over Mexican side Leon.

The Uruguayan entered the field with the score already at 4-0; on his return from World Cup injury Neymar stole the show, scoring twice and adding an assist for Lionel Messi to score.

Barcelona ran in two more goals after his introduction but Suarez looked way off the pace, unsurprising given he has not been allowed to play or train at all since he was sent off for biting Giorgio Chiellini on 24 June.

The Nou Camp was half full for Suarez's official introduction ahead of kick-off, and his name got a huge roar from the thousands inside the stadium.

After the match Suarez also posed with new team-mate Andres Iniesta in the dressing room.

Suarez will now start the long task of working his back to full fitness, with a match against bitter rivals Real Madrid on 25 October the target.
