Silva recovery on track and Aguero not for sale
Valencia's Spain international midfielder David Silva is making good progress as he continues his recovery from an ankle operation.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since the end of August, with his recovery predicted to take around three months. However, Silva has started light training at the Mestalla and will step up his efforts if things continue to go to plan.
Valencia's head medic, Antonio Giner, told the club's official website: "The recovery of the player remains favourable. He has carried out specific work for his ankle in the gymnasium and later did some light running. It is envisaged that this week we will work on the technical side of his recovery and then, next week, hopefully he will be able to train as normal."

Atletico Madrid have warned Manchester City that Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero is not for sale.
Mark Hughes’ side have been linked with a January transfer window swoop for the 20-year-old who has already scored 35 goals for the side from the Spanish capital.
Mid-table City paid Real Madrid £32.5million for Robinho just over two months ago but Atletico are determined to hang on to their prized asset, who they signed from Independiente in 2006.
Boss Javier Aguirre said when asked about the speculation: "Yes, I can give you a message. I know he is very happy at Atletico and he is still a very young player. For those reasons he will be staying with us for many years irrespective of how much money is on offer."
