Inter consider late bid for Ronaldinho to deny Milan
Roma scored three second-half goals yesterday to rally for a 3-1 victory at Udinese to put pressure on the Serie A leaders Internazionale.
But Moratti, who had previously played down the Serie A leaders' interest in the Brazilian, has risked the wrath of his city rivals by entering the fray.
"We will asses the possibility next week," Moratti said. "We have good relations with Barcelona and Ronaldinho's agent. We will see."
Inter, meanwhile, restored their four-point lead in the league after second-half goals from Esteban Cambiasso and Mario Balotelli sealed a 2-0 home win over Fiorentina last night.
Roma had earlier cut the gap to a point earlier when they won 3-1 at Udinese, but Inter's win means Luciano Spalletti's side have just five more games to try to reel in the defending champions.
The Argentina midfielder Cambiasso sidefooted home on 55 minutes after Patrick Vieira pulled the ball back and 17-year-old forward Balotelli extended the lead when he rounded the excellent Sebastien Frey.
Roma scored three second-half goals to beat Udinese. Antonio Di Natale put Udinese ahead in the 52nd minute, before Mirko Vucinic equalised in the 64th. Rodrigo Taddei put Roma ahead in the 70th and Ludovic Giuly added the third in the 90th.
"The question about whether things are still open depends on what Inter does," Spalletti said. "We have to try not to make any mistakes in these last games."
Roma's captain Francesco Totti returned after a two-week absence, but looked rusty, missing several chances and was substituted in the 76th minute.
Hasan Salihamidzic struck twice to give Juventus a 3-2 win over 10-man Milan on Saturday that severely dented the Rossoneri's hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Third-placed Juventus, who face Parma in their game in hand on Wednesday, are close to sealing a qualifying place for Europe's premier club competition in their first season back in the top flight following their match-fixing demotion and subsequent promotion.
In Genoa, Marco Borriello, Serie A's top scorer, registered his 19th of the season in Genoa's 3-0 win over visiting Torino.
