Xavi has urged Barcelona target Franck Ribery to join him in an all-star line-up at the Spanish and European champions next season.

The France star has been linked with Barca, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United during a summer of intense transfer speculation.

Bayern are adamant that the 26-year-old winger is not for sale, but that has not stopped the Barcelona captain from anticipating his potential arrival at the Camp Nou.

"It would be a privilege to play with him," said Xavi of the £40million-rated midfielder.

"I'm not the one who has to decide, but if you have to make an effort to get Ribery, I would."

South Korea defender Lee Young-Pyo has ended his miserable spell with Borussia Dortmund by joining Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.

The 32-year-old full-back arrived in the Bundesliga last summer following a frustrating three-year spell in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

Lee made just 13 league appearances during his time at the Westfalenstadion and has been allowed to move on despite having 12 months remaining on his contract.

The former PSV Eindhoven defender, who has won more than 100 international caps, has agreed a one-year contract with Al Hilal.
