Everton vs Crystal Palace LIVE: Premier League result and score as fans invade pitch after Calvert-Lewin goal
Everton 3-2 Crystal Palace: Follow live reaction as Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s late header rescued the hosts and secured their survival
Follow live reaction as Everton came from two goals down at half-time to beat Crystal Palace and secure their Premier League safety at a raucous Goodison Park.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 85th minute winner rescued Frank Lampard’s side and sparked a pitch invasion from the home supporters, after goals from Michael Keane and Richarlison pulled them level.
At half-time, and with Burnley leading Aston Villa, Everton were facing the possibility of needing to go to Arsenal on the final day of the season and getting a result.
Despite making a positive start in what was a noisy atmosphere at Goodison Park, the visitors took the lead when Jean-Philippe Mateta was allowed space to score a free header from Eberechi Eze’s free-kick.
It went from bad to worse for Everton as Jordan Ayew, who was fortunate to escape a red card for a high challenge on Anthony Gordon, punished a series of defensive mistakes to double Palace’s lead.
Michael Keane got one back after half-time to spark the comeback, and Richarlison equalised with 15 minutes of normal time remaining with a scrambled finish. But Calvert-Lewin’s header was greeted by wild scenes - which continued at full-time as the Toffees celebrated staying in the Premier League.
Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace
35 mins: YELLOW! The game is becoming a bit heated now. It’s another caution for Palace and this time it’s Ayew who horribly takes out Gordon. There’s a scissor motion in there and it’s over the top of the ball.
VAR says a yellow is fine. Think he has got away with one there.

34 mins: Zaha is looking extremely lively now. He slips a couple of challenges in the middle of the pitch and lays it off to Schlupp but the move then breaks down.
YELLOW! Hughes takes out Gordon and the Palace midfielder is the first player of the evening to receive a caution from Anthony Taylor.
Another opportunity for Gordon to deliver a free-kick into the penalty area...headed clear with very little trouble once more.

32 mins: It’s all Crystal Palace now. Everton are giving the ball away at will.
Hughes tries a dinked cross in towards Eze which Keane intercepts but Palace have it back in an instant.
Ayew slides Clyne in down the right and his low cross is collected by Pickford.
Everton then try to counter but Richarlison’s tame effort is comfortable for Butland.

30 mins: Lovely play from Palace. Zaha works it out to Mitchell and he sends a wonderful cross in for Mateta but Holgate gets their in the nick of time in front of the Palace man to prevent what surely would have been a second goal.
Everton are living on the edge. You feel a two-goal cushion for Palace could be game over already.
Goodison Park is furious.
Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace
28 mins: Decent opportunity for Everton.
They work it well from right to left. Gordon eventually sends the cross in beyond Richarlison and Mykolenko is flying in at the back post but shanks his effort wide.
Everton are going to have to be more prolific than that in front of goal because Palace look potent in the final third.

26 mins: Everton give the ball away again inside their own half and the first few noticeable groans are beginning to echo out around Goodison Park.
Palace playing some delightful stuff now as Zaha, Mateta and Eze link up deliciously in the middle of the park before Ayew’s cross is cleared.
Frustration on Merseyside.

24 mins: How do Everton respond to that? Goodison Park has been stunned into silence.
Crystal Palace have their tails up now. They sense blood among these nervous Everton players.
It was a positive start from the hosts but nothing came from it and now Palace are in front.
GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Leicester (Maddison 9’)
A screamer from James Maddison has shocked Chelsea at Stamford Bridge!
It comes from a long clearance downfield from Leicester and Maddison is allowed space on the edge of the box.
He loves a long-range strike.
GOAL! Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace (Mateta, 22)
22 mins: PALACE TAKE THE LEAD FROM THE SET-PIECE!
It’s the easiest goal you will ever see. Eze whips the free-kick into the penalty area and Mateta - who is totally unmarked - nods home from six yards.
Simple stuff. Nightmare for Everton.
Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace
21 mins: Palace again try to take the sting out of the game as they spend a minute or so knocking the ball around the back line. Smart stuff from the visitors who will not want this Goodison Park crowd to get more involved than they already have.
Everton eventually win it back but Gordon’s poor control then immediately gifts a throw-in to Palace.
And here’s a free-kick for the visitors as Schlupp goes down on the far touchline midway inside the Everton half.
