Gabriel makes his debut for Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Middlesbrough at the Emirates Stadium today.
The Brazilian defender moved for a reported £13.5m from Villarreal last month, and has been an unused substitute in the Gunners' last three matches.
Middlesbrough are flying high in the Championship this season, and are second to Bournemouth on goal difference.
