Arsenal have been drawn at home against Hull City in the Third Round of the FA Cup in a repeat of last year's Wembley final and one of four fixtures featuring teams that have contested the final in previous years.

The Gunners were victorious in May but Hull with have a chance for revenge after the two Premier League teams were the first come out of the hat as the draw reverted to its traditional Monday evening slot.

Other former finals drawn at The Deep aquarium in Hull included AFC Wimbledon vs Liverpool. The Dons, in their previous guise, famously beat the Reds 1-0 in the 1988 final.

In an all Premier League meeting, and yet another previous final, Burnley were drawn against Tottenham. Spurs won 3-1 in that 1962 final.

Sunderland vs Leeds took the tally of matches involving teams to have contested the final to four. They met in 1973 with the Black Cats leaving Wembley victorious.

Blyth Spartans who play in the Northern Premier, the seventh-tier of English football, are the lowest ranked side guaranteed to play in the Third Round. They were drawn at home against Championship side Birmingham City.

Everton will play Premier League high-flyers West Ham and Leicester take on Newcastle in the only other all-Premier League contests.

The ties will be played over the weekend beginning January 3.
