Manchester United will face West Ham United at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup quarter final - the second meeting in four days after the 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.

United, who have won the competition on four occasions, most recently in 2010, will be without manager Jose Mourinho, who has won it three times himself, for the game after he was sent to the stands for angrily kicking a water bottle when Paul Pogba was judged to have dived towards the end of the first half.

  • Jose Mourinho to watch the game from the stands as part of a one-game ban
  • Bastian Schweinsteiger expected to make his first appearance of the season for United
  • Four of the last six meetings between the sides have ended in draws
