The former England manager, who was appointed as Notts County's director of football earlier this year, has already secured the scalp of Sol Campbell, and is eager to bolster the team as the Nottingham based side look to push their way up the divisions.

The 36-year-old is said to be considering the move, which would see him paid an exorbitant amount of money in comparison to normal wages in the lowest division in English football.
