David Flitcroft makes rapid return with old club Bury

Bury appointed David Flitcroft as manager on Monday night, just nine days after he was sacked by Barnsley.

Flitcroft, who played more than 100 games for Bury, takes over two months after Kevin Blackwell was dismissed by the struggling League Two club.
