Doncaster Rovers will meet Dagenham & Redbridge in the inaugural Nationwide Conference play-off final at Stoke City's Britannia Stadium on Saturday after penalty shoot-out victories in yesterday's semi-final second legs.

With the scores level at 1-1 after last week's first leg in South Yorkshire, Chester took a 31st-minute lead at the Deva Stadium courtesy of Wayne Hatswell but Paul Barnes scrambled in the equaliser for Rovers in the 57th minute. With no further score after extra time, Rovers went through 4-3 on penalties.

Dagenham also advanced on penalties (3-2) after they lost their second leg to Morecambe by a 2-1 margin at Christie Park to leave the scores equal at 3-3 on aggregate.
