Barnsley 1 Blackpool 0
Who was the star man? Bobby Hassell. Our longest serving player, he's had a wretched time with injuries this season but he didn't put a foot wrong. Special mention to Jon Macken too. He's taken some stick this season but he was a brilliant targetman.
What next for Barnsley? We've just got to try to be consistent. We've followed up three straight defeats with back-to-back wins. It's Newcastle away next, which I really can't see us getting anything from. We're 11th at the moment. I'd love to stay there. (Rob Miles barnsley-mad.co.uk).
Coventry City 2 Scunthorpe Utd
Was it a fair result? Even with ten men following Leon Barnett's dismissal, we still looked the better side and should really have won more convincingly. Our transformation in the last few weeks has been astonishing. It looked set to be a relegation struggle but now we're outside bets for the play-offs.
Who was the star man? Jon Stead has been great for us since his arrival a month ago. He's linking up well with Clinton Morrison and we've already forgotten about Leon Best. (skyblue92, Coventry fan).
Doncaster Rovers 1 Crystal Palace 1
How good were Rovers? We needed this draw after two defeats had revived fears that we might get dragged into a relegation battle. We should have been more than one goal ahead at the break after completely dominating the first period but sat back in the second half and deserved to concede the equaliser.
How was the referee? Didn't really notice him until the closing stages but we should have had a penalty in stoppage time when Matt Lawrence brought down Jordon Mutch. (Donnydave, Doncaster fan).
Ipswich Town 0 Bristol City 0
How did Ipswich perform? The first half was dire but the second half was the best we have performed this season. We were getting it down, passing it, creating chances and if it wasn't for the City keeper we would have won this game. (Benfolds75, Ipswich fan).
Who was the man of the match? Dean Gerken was absolutely outstanding throughout the 90 minutes. He made three world-class saves and I dread to think where we would be in the table without him this season. (CitySlicker, Bristol City fan).
Leicester City 3 Nottm Forest 0
Did the match live up to expectations? It failed to fulfil its potential, particularly in the first half. Both teams looked nervous. However, just as the game appeared to be heading for a stalemate, Bruno Berner's goal brought the game back from the dead and the rest is history.
Can City finish in the play-offs? As long as we continue to grind out results both home and away, I expect to see us in the top six at the end of the season. A play-off final against Forest would be truly magical. (Joe Harris, foxes-mad.co.uk).
Middlesbrough 2 Queens Park Rangers 0
Can Boro make the play-offs? We really shouldn't have a hope after being dreadful for the last four months. We've lost 13 games in total already but this win leaves us only two points off sixth spot. Amazing and we certainly don't deserve it.
Was it a fair result? Two poor teams produced mediocre fare for a bored crowd and only a disputed penalty set us up for the win. We're a mid-table team and nothing more. (berniesboot, Middlesbrough fan).
Preston North End 3 Cardiff city 0
Who was the Preston star? It was a superb all-round team performance particularly as we were reduced to 10 men in the opening stages of the second half. However, Jon Parkin was real handful for the Cardiff defence all afternoon and gets my vote. (Lilywhite, Preston fan).
Are Cardiff going up this year? If we play like this again we won't be going up for another 10 years! We were awful from the first whistle to the last and simply not good enough for the Premier League. (Skippy, Cardiff fan).
Reading 5 Sheffield Wednesday 0
What's happened to Reading? This result has been coming for a while. We've finally turned our FA Cup form into Championship points and are looking like a good team again. We were superb from first whistle to last and could easily have scored even more.
What about the visitors? They were unlucky to play us on a good day but they didn't offer much at all. Wednesday certainly aren't too good to go down and on this display I'd back them to be in League One next season. (royal_74, Reading fan).
Sheffield United 4 Plymouth Argyle 3
Was it a fair result? I'd say so, but credit to Plymouth as they didn't give up when 3-0 down and they ended up pulling three goals back in the end in an enthralling encounter. Credit to their fans as they sung their hearts out throughout.
Happy with the performance? Our defence was a shambles and if it wasn't for our strikers (plus a helping hand from Argyle goalkeeper David Stockdale) we may have been on the end of an ugly defeat. (Jamie Furniss, blades-mad.co.uk).
Swansea City 1 Peterborough Utd 0
Are Swansea in a false position? We've become the 1-0 specialists but I still think a lack of a regular goalscorer will eventually cost us dear. We dominated the match from start to finish and should have won much more easily but are relying on a tight defence to get by at the moment.
Any hope for the visitors? None at all. They're the poorest team I've seen this season and that includes Brighton in the Carling Cup who were absolutely terrible. (skettyswan, Swansea fan).
Watford 1 Newcastle United 2
Was it a fair result? I don't really know how we won it to be honest. We were poor again but it was another typical performance from us this season, nothing flash but we took the chances when they came our way.
Who was the star man? Fabricio Coloccini. He was castigated last season for some dire displays and took a big chunk of the blame for our relegation but he's been immense in the Championship and this was his best performance of the campaign. (billybaboon, Newcastle fan).
West Bromwich 3 Derby County 1
Who shone for the Baggies? I have not been slow to criticise him in the past so fair play to Chris Brunt. Not only did he score two goals but he chased back and won a good number of headers from Scott Carson kick-outs. (Prando, West Brom fan).
How good are Derby? Play-off hopefuls – I don't think so. We're only a handful of points above the relegation pack. Survival is still the target and if we can finish comfortably then that will be a good result come the season end. (AdiSalisbury, Derby fan).Reuse content
