Cardiff 2 Doncaster 1

Can Cardiff maintain their play-off challenge?

We have class in abundance, but any further injuries and the wafer-thin squad will start to show some cracks. Tiredness could also be a factor later on this season and right now I can't see us lasting the course. (Lawnmower, Cardiff fan).

Was it a fair result?

We could have been out of sight in the first half-hour, but in truth there was only one side playing after that. Rovers passed us off the park and have some good players and a great style of play. (bloobird, Cardiff fan).

Coventry 1 Blackpool 1

Content with the point?

We were a goal down with seven minutes to play so I'll take a point. However, we weren't at the races for long spells in this match and I'd feel aggrieved if I was a Blackpool supporter. (KingJames, Coventry fan)

What next for Blackpool?

Charlie Adam didn't have his best of games but he's still the best player we've got by a country mile. Ian Holloway clearly wants to keep him so let's hope the board back the manager on this one. He's the best winger in the division. (Sharpy, Blackpool fan)

Crystal Palace 2 Peterborough 0

Happy with the performance?

Hopefully a potential new investor watched the passion and commitment on display at Selhurst Park. The players were magnificent from the first whistle but it's a sad case of lambs led by lions I'm afraid. (eagles4ever, Crystal Palace fan)

Are Posh going down?

If ever we needed a performance to show we're not good enough for the Championship it was this one. Palace are down and out but still we come nowhere near matching them. League One here we come! (moodyblue, Peterborough fan)

Derby 1 Nottingham Forest 0

Happy with the win?

I'm so pleased for Nigel Clough and the lads. Hopefully this win will shut the boo-boys up for at least another week. (derbyboyz, Derby fan).

Was the defeat hard to take?

I'm not upset about the result in the grand scheme of things. We'll use this positively and drive onwards, especially if Billy Davies gets the signings he deserves. Also the result didn't do Derby's survival chances much good as all the other teams below them won as well. (CastustheRed, Nottm Forest fan)

Leicester 0 Newcastle 0

Who was the villain?

We battled heroically with ten men but lord knows what was going through the head of Richie Wellens. To get sent off inside 30 minutes is some achievement! (Knight_Rider, Doncaster fan)

Was that two dropped points?

You can't win every week and come the end of the season we might just look back at this as a point gained rather than two lost. We definitely had chances to win through Nile Ranger and Nicky Butt at the death but it's fair to say we never managed to get out of third gear on the day. (GeordieMessiah, Newcastle fan)

Middlesbrough 0 Bristol City 0

Happy with Boro's form?

Gordon Strachan must be watching another team as he wrote in the programme notes that we haven't been getting the results our performances deserved. Today we deserved a point after a bore draw and that exactly what we got. (Juninho, Middlesbrough fan)

What are Bristol City lacking?

We were better than against Cardiff City but there's still a lack of creativity up front. Gary Johnson needs two new strikers before the transfer window closes. (dellboy, Bristol City fan)

Preston 2 Ipswich 0

How did Danny Welbeck fare on his home debut?

He came alive as he got the service to feet and boy is he quick, similar pace to Patrick Agyemang, but has a better touch and knows which direction to run. He took his goal well and to have a whole stand sing his name will be great for the lad. (Gurkha, Preston fan).

What's next for Preston?

Overall we just about shaded it, two wins in a row, two clean sheets in a row, a number of home games coming up and two thirds of the Manchester United squad rumoured to be coming in on loan, things are looking positive. (HeyshamWhiteII, Preston fan).

QPR 0 Scunthorpe 1

What's the talk of the terraces?

We are officially a laughing stock and the owners of the club don't seem to care. The sooner they take their as yet unseen millions away from Loftus Road the better. We were a shambles and we all know who to blame! (Loftuslad, QPR fan)

Can Scunthorpe stay up?

A couple of weeks ago I thought we were certainties for the drop but I should know better than to under-estimate Nigel Adkins. He's got the boys playing well again and I think we'll survive. (Bling, Scunthorpe fan)

Reading 1 Barnsley 0

Happy with your new manager?

He's won his first league game at the helm but I'll reserve judgement as we were hardly pulling up trees in the Championship during his spell as caretaker. The chairman clearly has faith so we'll give him a fair crack of the whip. (StainesBlue, Reading fan)

Are Barnsley fans content?

It seems that we are back in self-destruct, headless chicken mode again! How can anybody say we can see out the season with what we've got? Some of those players should be ashamed to pull on the shirt. (tobytykespuppy, Barnsley fan)

Sheff Wed 2 Plymouth 1

What was the turning point?

Probably the equalising goal. The fact that we were able to strike back within a minute of falling behind was crucial. Had Plymouth managed to hold on to the lead for a while it could have been a very frustrating afternoon.

Did the visitors play well?

For a struggling side, Plymouth passed the ball around well and enjoyed plenty of possession, especially for an away side. However they were unable to break Wednesday down after they went behind and lacked a killer pass or a cutting edge up front. (Chris Morris, owls-mad.co.uk).

West Bromwich 3 Sheff Utd 1

Was it a fair result?

I don't think I've seen Albion have an easier half this season than in the opening 45 minutes. The Baggies were excellent from the first whistle and were well worth their advantage at half-time - albeit from a soft penalty to open the scoring.

What next for Albion?

After Forest's surprise defeat to Derby, Albion have a real opportunity to put some pressure on their promotion rivals after playing catch-up for a few weeks. Roberto Di Matteo's new 4-5-1 formation seems to have worked wonders. (Iain Bate, wba-mad.co.uk)
