BLACKPOOL have signed former Watford and Fulham striker Hameur Bouazza, subject to international clearance.

The Algerian international, 24, has agreed a one-year contract with an option for a second year.

He was a free agent having left Turkish side Sivasspor after just five days.

DERBY have signed Lee Hendrie from Championship rivals SHEFFIELD UNITED until the end of the season with Rams defender Jordan Stewart moving in the opposite direction.

BRISTOL CITY have bolstered their squad with the signings of Evander Sno and Alvaro Saborio on season-long loan deals.

Former Celtic midfielder Sno, 22, arrives at Ashton Gate from Dutch giants Ajax just a year after joining the Eredivisie club.

Costa Rica striker Soborio, 27, has joined the Robins from Swiss side FC Sion after passing a medical on Monday.

Soborio, who is yet to receive international clearance, has scored 18 goals in 53 international appearances.

CRYSTAL PALACE have completed the signing of Jamaican defender Claude Davis.

The 30-year-old centre-half, who was a free agent after leaving Derby earlier in the summer, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Selhurst Park.

SWANSEA have revealed they may look to resurrect a deal for MILLWALL's Zak Whitbread in January.

The American-born central defender looked set for a move to the Liberty Stadium after a deal between the two clubs was agreed.

But the 25-year-old has since undergone a hip operation, so Whitbread will stay with the League One club for the time being.

DONCASTER have confirmed that central defender Jason Shackell has extended his loan deal which will see him stay at the Keepmoat until January 2010, while QPR sporting director Gianni Paladini has revealed the London club failed with a bid to sign SCUNTHORPE's Gary Hooper.

LEEDS defender Alan Sheehan has joined League One rivals OLDHAM on a month's loan.

The 22-year-old has not figured in Simon Grayson's first-team squad so far this season and heads to Boundary Park in search of regular first-team football.

LEEDS have completed the signing of South African striker David Somma and defender Leigh Bromby from SHEFFIELD UNITED.

Former San Jose Earthquakes forward Somma has penned a one-year contract at Elland Road after impressing during a pre-season trial.

Bromby has penned a four-year contract after being told he was not guaranteed a first-team spot at Bramall Lane.

NORWICH defender Dejan Stefanovic has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

BRIGHTON have sold winger Mark Wright to BRISTOL ROVERS for an undisclosed fee less than six weeks after picking him up on a free transfer - and brought in NOTTINGHAM FOREST's Arron Davies as a replacement.

Wright, 27, has struggled to settle at the south-coast club since arriving from MK Dons so Seagulls boss Russell Slade has allowed him to move on and brought in 25-year-old midfielder Davies on loan until December.

"It's very good business for us. Mark has come and given his best for the club and has struggled to settle in off the field and it makes sense for both parties for us to allow him to move on," said Slade.

"Arron is a more-than-adequate replacement. He can play on either wing, as an attacking midfielder, and is a player I know very well from my time at Yeovil."

Meanwhile, BRISTOL ROVERS have completed the signing of READING's Mikkel Anderson.

WALSALL have signed Manchester City defender Clayton McDonald on an initial month-long loan, while CREWE have re-signed Tottenham goalkeeper David Button on a six-month loan deal.
