Queen's Park Rangers vice-chairman Amit Bhatia last night resigned after another boardroom dispute at Loftus Road.

The son-in-law of Rangers' billionaire co-owner Lakshmi Mittal quit in the wake of chairman Ishan Saksena's removal and the decision to increase ticket prices next year.

The cheapest tickets for QPR's first season back in the top flight will be £47, while season-ticket prices are up by almost 40 per cent.
