Stockport game to be Taylor's last as Bradford slide down table
Peter Taylor is to step down as Bradford City manager by mutual consent after tomorrow's visit of Stockport County.
The former England caretaker manager, 58, met with joint chairman Julian Rhodes after Tuesday's home defeat to Chesterfield and he departs Valley Parade after just over 12 months in charge.
The League Two club have won just once in nine matches, slipping to 21st in the table, six points above the relegation zone. "The simple fact is that it just hasn't worked," joint chairman Mark Lawn said.
