Watford The club have lodged an appeal against the dismissal of John-Joe O'Toole during the 1-0 victory over Leicester City. The midfielder (right) was sent off for pulling back Foxes counterpart Stephen Clemence during Tuesday's match.

Charlton Athletic Talks with potential investors over a possible takover of the club have been discontinued. The club were linked with a £45m buyout by a Middle East consortium but the present regime of chairman Richard Murray and manager Alan Pardew will now remain in place.

Rochdale The Dale have put the naming rights for their Spotland stadium up for sale in an attempt to raise money. "We've a plan to make the Championship in seven years," business development manager Iain Johnstone said. "We want someone to come on board and share our dream."

Peterborough United The club have been charged by the Football Association with failing to control their players following a brawl during their match with Wrexham last week. 20 outfield players became involved following a tackle on Posh goalkeeper Joe Lewis.
