Cameroon vs Brazil team news World Cup 2014: Hulk returns for Brazil with Ramires left out
Hosts are vying for qualification from Group A
Monday 23 June 2014
Brazil have switched things up for their final group game, bringing in Hulk, who missed the 0-0 draw with Mexico through injury, and dropping Ramires to the bench.
Cameroon are without Barcelona's Alex Song, who is suspended following his mindless red card in his side's 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Croatia.
The African side are already out of the tournament, but should they win, they could conspire to knock hosts Brazil out of the tournament.
Aside from bringing in Hulk, Phil Scolari's side are unchanged and hoping to get the win they need to secure top spot in the group and avoid a knockout round clash with Netherlands who earlier qualified in pole position from Group B.
Here are the starting XIs:
Cameroon: Itandje, Nkoulou (c), Nguemo, Moukandjo, Aboubakar, Bedimo, Choupo Moting, Mbia, Enoh, Matip, Nyom.
Brazil: Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva (c), David Luiz, Marcelo, Hulk, Paulinho, Fred, Neymar, Oscar, Luiz Gustavo
Were Brazil to fail to advance from their group, it would come as a real surprise, particularly considering the fairly generous draw they have been handed.
