The Ajax midfielder was the youngest player to feature in the 2010 World Cup and has been compared to celebrated countryman Michael Laudrup. Eriksen is one of Europe's most gifted youngsters and will hope to continue the form that has helped Ajax win back-to-back Eredivisie titles. The teenage prodigy, who has already made 21 appearances for Denmark, managed 17 assists and seven goals in the league this season for Frank de Boer's side. Eriksen will play behind Nicklas Bendtner in the playmaker role with Denmark expected to start in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
