Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been unstoppable this season, scoring 29 times in all competitions for his club.
Plenty of people wanted him in from the start when England played Lithuania in their Group E qualifier but - to the anger of plenty - Roy Hodgson elected to play it safe and put the 21-year-old on the bench.
With England inevitably cruising against the 94th-best team in the world, Kane was finally introduced after 68 minutes to make his England debut, coming on for Wayne Rooney.
And what an impact he had.
Just 80 seconds after stepping onto the Wembley turf for the first time as an England player Kane was on the scoresheet, bundling home a cross after some brilliant work by Raheem Sterling down the left.
Inevitably, social media was abuzz with the goal, and so were those who like to make funny pictures.
