Mario Balotelli says he is the 'coolest' and 'best looking' player in the Italy World Cup squad
The AC Milan striker declares he is better than his team-mates at just about everything
Mario Balotelli has declared himself the coolest, funniest and best looking player in the Italy squad that is current readying for the World Cup.
The former Manchester City striker, who has never been shy on confidence, excelled himself during a video in which he interviews himself to mark the launch of PUMA Tricks boots.
The AC Milan striker enjoyed a strong season in Serie A and is likely to lead the attack for Italy in Brazil, starting with their opening Group D game against England.
And it would seem he will approach that game in Manaus high on confidence.
"The quickest in the Italy squad? That's me," he said in the video. "The best? Don't make me do this, you know who is the best!
"The most technical? You know that one as well. The funniest? You already know that one too. The coolest? Come on, that one is really obvious! The best looking? Too easy."
Balotelli went on to talk up the Azzuri's chance of success at the World Cup and even claimed that he expects to finish as top scorer in Brazil.
"When I win the Golden Boot, it will go in my wardrobe with the rest of my shoes!" he joked.
"I struggled a bit at the beginning of Euro 2012, but then after that it went very well! I believe that Italy are a stronger team now then we were then. I don't know why.
"We are a strong team and try to play an important part in the same way that other big players do, like Pirlo, Buffon and three or four other key members of the team."

Italy's game against England is on June 14.
