Pearce's boys meet Serbia
Saturday 15 September 2012
Serbia stand in the way of England Under-21s qualifying for next summer's European Championship in Israel after the pair were drawn together in next month's play-offs.
Stuart Pearce's side won Group Eight upon beating Norway 1-0 on Monday and play the unseeded Serbs in a two-legged affair between 12 and 16 October.
'It's a difficult tie for us, but when you are down to the last 14 in Europe you know you are not going to get an easy draw," Pearce said.
"They are an emerging side, and I spoke to Savo Milosevic about them and they, like us, have had a number of players move up to their senior team."
