Portugal must win and win big if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the second round, but Cristiano Ronalkdo has overcome any injury fears to start and with the Ballon d’Or winner in the side, anything is possible.

Ghana go into the match without two of their key players in midfielder Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng after they were sent home from the World Cup and suspended from the national team indefinitely for disciplinary reasons.

Muntari would have been suspended regardless, so Emmanuel Agyemang Badu comes into the starting line-up in place of the departed AC Milan star.
