Those punters who half hope for, half dread an England against Argentina or Germany final can add financial considerations to their dreams or nightmares with a bet in the market on naming the two finalists.

Punters expecting the remaining matches to go to form can back a Brazil-Argentina final at 9-2 with Paddy Power, while those who prefer to bet with patriotic hearts might try England-Argentina at 9-1 or England-Germany at 10-1.

The Tote offer 7-1 that Brazil can repeat their perfect 2002 finals by winning every game in 90 minutes. Germany and Portugal can also manage the feat and are 16-1 and 40-1 respectively.

With non-singer Gary Neville a possible starter against Portugal, the Tote offer odds on how many England players will sing the national anthem. They suspect he will let the side down and make it 6-4 that one player does not join in, 6-1 that all 11 sing and 3-1 that eight or nine are on song.
