Liverpool will look to continue their improved recent form that has seen them win two out of their last three matches.

The Reds have struggled for goals and form for much of the season but are unbeaten since losing at Old Trafford on 14 December with wins at Bournemouth and Burnley and a draw with Arsenal and have a good run of very winnable fixtures.

Tonight’s match against Swansea is followed by another home game against Leicester, before they travel to Sunderland and then Aston Villa – Brendan Rodgers will surely be looking to collect at least nine points from those four matches.

Raheem Sterling is set to continue up front with Liverpool desperate to change their poor home form – they’ve won just three matches at Anfield this season.

Swansea are in the chasing back for a Europa League spot, currently eighth with 28 points, three ahead of the Reds.

Wilfried Bony has scored more goals than any other Premier League player in 2014, with 20, and will hope to add to that tally against a team who he has previously been linked to.

Garry Monk’s men have slowed down after a brilliant start, but have won each of their last two matches – although the 1-0 victories against Hull and Aston Villa weren’t the most convincing.
