Umbro has been revived rapidly since it was sold by Nike

By no means a great game but in terms of significance, it didn't get any bigger than this. An uncharacteristically defensive Manchester United were beaten on the night by a solitary goal from Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany. When the season ended with the two sides equal on points and City claiming the title on goal difference, the importance of this result was put into context.
