Petr Cech makes his debut in front of Arsenal fans today as Arsene Wenger’s side bid to end their pre-season with a 100 per cent record.

The Chelsea goalkeeper has already played once already for his new team and will be hoping to make it two pre-season trophies from as many games against Wolfsburg today. Barring an absolutely calamitous debut for the new signing that should be a foregone conclusion, with the Bundesliga rivals needing to win and win by five goals to tie Arsenal’s points tally.

Jack Wilshere, who sat out yesterday’s 6-0 win over Lyon with illness, is also included in Wenger’s side. Youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide is also included after an impressive cameo in yesterday’s game.

Theo Walcott leads the line in a side captained by Mikel Arteta whilst there is an all-new defensive line for Cech to play behind, with Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers, Gabriel and Nacho Monreal making up the back four.

For Wolfsburg the major story is the return of Arsenal cult hero Nicklas Bendtner. He starts up front with former Chelsea players Kevin De Bruyne and Andre Schurrle in behind.
