Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been charged with improper conduct by Uefa for "inappropriate language" towards referee Massimo Busacca after the Champions League defeat to Barcelona.

Wenger confronted the Swiss official after the final whistle over the sending off of Robin van Persie, who was shown a second yellow card for shooting at goal just one second after he had blown the whistle for offside, and angry exchanges continued inside the tunnel.
