The Premier League stars have been making the most of the good weather, with the Manchester United goalkeepers heading to a theme park

Yesterday was International Goalkeeper Day apparently, at least according to David De Gea.

So how did the Manchester United stopper celebrate the occasion that most (all) of us never knew existed? With a trip to the theme park with his deputy Victor Valdes of course.

The Spanish pair put on some aviator shades and headed off to Alton Towers to celebrate, with De Gea taking a selfie with Valdes from the hospitality suite.

The pair weren't the only footballers taking advantage of the unseasonably hot weather.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas admitted he wasn't sure if he was in London or the Caribbean as he soaked up the rays in Regents Park.

Meanwhile, Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez enjoyed the warm patch with his dogs, Atom and Humber.

De Gea, Valdes, Fabregas and Sanchez would usually have been involved in European action this week, but it seems there was a silver lining to their respective teams' failures to qualify and eliminations from the Champions League.
