Football in Brief: Fellaini attributes form to drop back in position
Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini believes it is no coincidence that his recent upturn in form has come with a move back to his favoured defensive midfield position. "I've always said that this is my best position," the £15m record signing, who has been used as a second striker at times this season, said. "I'm enjoying playing here again. I just do my job out there on the field. I try to do my best."
Fabregas close to return after hamstring injury
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is in line to return to the side for the trip to Bolton Wanderers on Sunday. The Spanish midfielder has not featured for Arsène Wenger's side since straining a hamstring during a brief cameo against Aston Villa at the end of last month. "The snow may have disrupted the football lately, but it hasn't interrupted my rehab," the 22-year-old said. "We have a good chance to rest it for a week. There is no point rushing it, and Bolton away is a reasonable target for me."
