From bad to brilliant - football managers who overcame setbacks

Tottenham Hotspur today announced the appointment of Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager on a three-year deal.
Fans of the north London club will be hoping it is more succesful than his last managerial stint, at Chelsea, which saw him lose his job after only eight months in charge.
Here, we provide Tottenham supporters with some hope as we look at other managers who overcame a bad spell in charge to guide their new club to glory.
