Don't be alarmed if you hear John Terry tell you to mind the gap or Arsene Wenger inform you when the next train will be arriving this week.

The Chelsea captain and Arsenal manager are among those taking part in an initiative for London Poppy Day that will see their voices used to make announcements on the London Underground.

Stations in close proximity to various football grounds in the capital will use the voices of popular figures at the club.

Wenger's voice will be used alongside that of Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, Holloway Road and Finsbury Park. Meanwhile Terry will be heard delivering information to commuters and tourists at the stations nearest Stamford Bridge including Fulham Broadway, Earl's Court and West Brompton.

Tottenham will be represented by Andros Townsend and Ben Davies whilst Joey Barton and Rob Green will do the honours for QPR. Fulham captain Scott Parker will be heard at Putney Bridge and Parsons Green.
