Legendary ref Jack Taylor dies
Jack Taylor, the former referee who officiated at the 1974 World Cup final, has died at his Shropshire home at the age of 82.
Described by the Football League in a statement as "perhaps the finest English referee of all time", Taylor awarded the first penalties in a World Cup final as West Germany beat the Netherlands 2-1.
