In the wake of the boy band star's contract signing with Doncaster, we take a look at other well-known names to have expressed their support for a certain club

Not many saw Doncaster's latest signing coming, but the news was confirmed earlier today that One Direction star Louis Tomlinson had signed a contract with the his hometown club that will see him take part in reserve game in September or October.

The contract won't see Tomlinson turning out for Rovers in a competitive game any time soon though, with the club confirming that he won't be leaving the band in the near future.

But he is the latest in a long line of celebrities that have expressed their support for a football club. Here, we take a look at the other high-profile names that have given their backing for their favourite team.
