Sam Wallace: My all-time Premier League XI

The hardest omission was Wayne Rooney. Cantona gets in ahead because he gives the team something completely different. Right-back has the least obvious candidates.

Lee Dixon was 28 when the first Premier League season kicked off in 1992 but he still won a title 10 years on in 2002 and his attacking powers get him in ahead of Gary Neville. This team would certainly score a lot of goals.
