Robbie Savage is facing an FA investigation for using the referee's toilet after Graham Poll included the incident in his match report following Leicester City's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The midfielder was caught short by a stomach upset brought on by antibiotics for a gashed ankle and as the home dressing room toilet was occupied, used the toilet in the referee's room. When he was caught by Poll the pair laughed about it, but when the referees' assessor walked in the mood changed, and Savage was shocked to find the incident included in the referee's report.
Poll claims that Savage left the toilet door open, made a rude remark, did not wash his hands and wiped them on the assessor's blazer. Savage denies the allegations, but Leicester are threatening to fine him £50,000.Reuse content
