Having been caught out on Twitter before (see later slide), the former Liverpool man seemed not to have learnt his lesson as he was fined £10,000 for tweeting an image of referee Howard Webb in a Manchester Untied shirt. Webb had sent Steven Gerrard off in Liverpool's 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
What was said:
"And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH."
He later apologised saying: "Sorry Howard Webb. My apology if they take my posted pic seriously. This is just an emotional reaction after losing an important game."
