April 1 - Neil Warnock (Leeds)
After defeat to Derby County ended Leeds United's faint hopes of promotion from the Championship, Warnock left the club. Having taken over 14 months previously, the former Sheffield United boss was charged with bringing top flight football back to Elland Road. Warnock was always expected to leave at the end of the season if they failed to gain promotion but a run of three defeats in his final three games speeded his exit. Speaking just before his exit, Warnock said: 'I have been a manager for 33 years and these last 12 months have been the hardest. I have given it my best shot, but, being honest, we haven't been good enough in the final third of the pitch.'
