Video footage has emerged of Tottenham and Chelsea fans brawling at Wembley Park station after the Capital One Cup final.

With fans waiting at the platform for a train, it appears as if a Spurs fan takes a woman's Chelsea flag and throws it onto the tracks.

Angered at this, the woman then starts hitting the man in the face with another plastic flag, before he starts shouting obscenities at her. The two are pulled apart but then the man - a Spurs fan - lands a punch on a younger man who had been trying to diffuse the situation.

Another man then gets involved, apparently to help the younger man, before someone else then starts fighting with him, landing a string of punches.

He then pulls away and turns to the next platform, full of Spurs supporters, who start chanting 'Y***o' at him as he holds his hands in the air in apparent celebration.

Police then make their way to the incident where he is led away.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "A 40-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on Sunday, 1 March, on suspicion of actual bodily harm. He was bailed to appear at a police station on Monday, 23 March."
