Werder Bremen vs Chelsea team news: Thibaut Courtois makes first Blues start in friendly, while returning Didier Drogba is on the bench
Belgian goalkeeper starts in place of Petr Cech
Thibaut Courtois, the Chelsea goalkeeper who has been on loan at Atletico Madrid for the past three seasons, will make his first Blues start today in their pre-season friendly at Werder Bremen.
In addition, the returning Didier Drogba is set to re-debut for the club. The Ivorian striker, who signed a one-year contract with the club last week, scored 157 goals in all competitions during eight trophy-laden years with the club between 2004 and 2012. He starts today's match from the bench.
