Alexis Sanchez strolls off mischievously having altered his cut-out

Alexis Sanchez is arguably the biggest name at Arsenal these days but, among the squad, he's one of the smallest in stature.

The 5ft 6 Chilean forward is only taller than Santi Cazorla out of all of his Gunners team-mates and, if footage from this weekend's 2-0 win over Stoke City is anything to go by, it gets to him.

The film, posted on Arsenal's official YouTube channel, shows the former Barcelona player tampering with a cardboard cut-out of himself which is stuck on a corridor wall next to other cut-outs of his fellow squad members.

Sanchez can be seen removing the cut-out from the wall and then, much to the amusement of an onlooking photographer, sticking it back on higher up, so that it appears much taller.

Sanchez is said to often play this joke when arriving at the Emirates on a match day but without ever actually pulling it off. For once, on Saturday, he did.

The Chilean is yet to register a goal or assist in the Premier League this season but his performances have been largely promising as he hopes to recapture the form that he showed with championship-winning Chile at this summer's Copa America.
