Tottenham manager Andre-Villas Boas has emerged as a candidate to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Paris St-Germain.
The mega-rich Ligue 1 side are on the look-out for a new head coach after current manager Ancelotti expressed his desire to replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
It is understood that Villas-Boas is on the French club's short-list and would consider an offer.
The former Porto and Chelsea manager has two-years remaining on his current deal at White Hart Lane and is happy in north London. However, the 35-year-old remains hugely ambitious and it is claimed he would listen to offers from PSG's Qatari owners.
With Spurs having failed to clinch Champions League football for next season, a move to the French capital would offer a short cut to Europe's top competition for Villas-Boas.
It is believed the Portuguese is one of several candidates under consideration, with his rumoured £10m release clause not considered an obstacle were PSG to make a formal approach to Spurs.
Spurs face an on-going fight to keep Gareth Bale amid persistent interest from Real but his future is not thought to be linked to Villas-Boas’s situation.
