The Champions League favourites Arsenal will play London rivals Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The two remaining Premiership sides in the competition - first and second in the domestic league - were paired together at UEFA's draw today.
The match will be the first encounter between two English sides in European competition since the country was readmitted following a six-year ban in 1991.
Manchester United's conquerors Porto were handed a tie with Lyon whilst nine-times winners Real Madrid will face Monaco. Holders AC Milan will play Deportivo La Coruna.
